Independent status. fernwick is an independent guidance and information service. We are not a mobile network. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by or connected to Three, EE, O2, Vodafone, Sky Mobile, Tesco Mobile or any other provider, and we hold no commercial arrangement with any of them. We do not sell, supply, arrange or broker SIM cards, contracts, handsets or services of any kind, and we take no commission. Everything published here is general information and must not be relied upon in place of the provider's own current terms.
Our position in one lineAn independent advisory on United Kingdom mobile networks. We sell nothing, arrange nothing and act for no provider — we simply explain how the market works and what any given decision commits you to.
§1What this advisory is
We publish guidance on the mobile networks serving the United Kingdom: which companies operate here, when each arrived, what each actually offers, and what a customer should understand before joining, while served, and on leaving.
Everything is written as an advisory note with the same anatomy — our position in one line, the background, what is offered, what to verify, the common pitfalls, and the steps to take. Notes are referenced AN-01 to AN-19 so a point can be found and returned to.
- We sell nothing: no SIM cards, no contracts, no handsets, no services of any kind.
- We take no commission and accept no payment for placement, from anyone.
- We publish no prices — they expire faster than any site can correct them.
- We cannot see or alter any account you hold, and we will never ask for a password, a security code or payment details.
